Third Grade Rocked the Marshmallow Challenge!

Third grade did some team building on Friday during our enrichment time.  All of third grade gathered in our common area to participate in The Marshmallow Challenge.  The challenge was to build the tallest free standing structure possible using spaghetti, tape, string and one large marshmallow.  It's harder than it sounds.  This challenge has been done all over the U.S. with everyone from CEO's to kindergartners.  Guess who performs the best?  The challenge encourages problem solving, divergent thinking and teamwork.  We had a BLAST!  Ask your third grader about it!
